  11. I have successfully compiled gnuchess-4.0.pl58 on a sparc-IPX using 
  12. gcc-2.3.1. Last week I got the patch-level 60 and that also compiled
  13. without any problem. The 1st time it ran, it created a binary-opening
  14. book and worked just fine. All the subsequent times, it gave a core-dump
  15. with some "Arithmatic error message". When I delete the binbook, it runs
  16. fine ONCE (after creating a binbook, 3 MB size) and the core dumps after
  17. that. I have atleast 5 MB empty space.

  19. Any pointer to locate and fix the problem is welcome.
