- Questions about computer bridge games do seem to be frequently asked on this
- news group, but not frequently answered.
-
- In general, computer bridge (unlike computer chess) hasn't received much serious
- attention over the years, but there does seem to have been a recent burst of
- commercial activity.
-
- Based on reviews, Saitek's Pro Bridge 500 appears to be the best self-contained
- bridge-playing computer on the market. Baron/Barclay Bridge Supplies
- (800-274-2221) wants $400 for it. They quote the _ACBL Bulletin's_ review:
- "A quality product which will provide considerable entertainment for beginners
- and intermediates."
-
- Sounds like faint praise to me. Have any rgbers tried it?
