  15. I had been asking my wife for this but hadn't seen it locally so didn't
  16. expect it.  She found it at Crown Books.  If you've read most of the
  17. other training manuals around (LeMond, Eddie B., Hinault) you won't
  18. find much new in this book.  One nice thing is that it was published
  19. in '92 so has pictures of Indurain from '91 and Davis in his National
  20. Pro Championship jersey.

  22. The 49 page prologue covers Connie and Davis's carreers through Connie's
  23. olympic gold in '84 and Davis's '91 Corestates US Pro championship.
  24. It's the best history I've read of the "Class of '84" and the 7-Eleven
  25. team (I wasn't following cycling between '85 and '90).  Also interesting
  26. was Connie's account of the competition between her, Rebecca Twigg,
  27. and Jeanne Longo.
