  12.    Having lived in the metro Phoenix area for 5 years now, I can say
  13. that this is one of the better places for a cyclist to live. The roads
  14. thru the city may be the only negative but that issue has recently been
  15. addressed by the addition of new bike lanes. But just outside the metro
  16. area is some of the best cycling around - both road and mountain. Great
  17. parks and reservations not to mention a canal system that stretches the
  18. entire valley. The heat is another story. Hope you own a trainer or
  19. rollers. And the climbs! There are several quality bike shops here in
  20. the valley that can provide you with all the info you need:

  23.    Domenic's
  24.    Tempe Bike
  25. These are just a few but are by far the better shops. Go straight to
  26. any one or all of these when you get here.
