- I would suggest the San Francisco Bay Area. I moved out here from
- Virginia about five years ago. Have found it to be a great area
- to live and the biking opportunities are excellent. The locals,
- in cars, give bicyclists plenty of room on the road. There is a
- lot to see here(touristy). There are also three international
- airports here if your're only biking oneway. If you're going to
- bike both ways, there are at least a hundred bike shops here that
- all do excellent work(repairs).
