- Organisers should receive entries for events at least one week in
- advance. Please enclose two C5 stamped addressed envelopes. For Audax
- events you will receive your route sheet and start information in the
- first sae. After the event you will receive your validated brevet card
- in the second sae. Please note that all organisers are volunteers.

- Randonnees are touring events covering at least 200km. Riders have to
- maintain an average start to finish speed of 15km/h (app. 9mph). The
- maximum speed is usually 30km/h. Populaires are less demanding rides
- up to 200km. They may have slower maximum or minimum speeds.

- In all Audax events riders get detailed sheets. They are not races.
- tThey are a challenge. Unless otherwise stated they are on surfaced
- roads. Intermediate controls are often at cafes or hotels. You can
- ride alone or in a group.

- AUK : Audax United Kingdom; CTC : Cyclists Touring Club;
- SCU : Scottish Cycling Union; DATC : Events which count towards the
- CTC tourist competition.
