- The F-117's job could not have been done by any other "known operational"
- aircraft in the world. That's why it was chosen to be used. The B1 was not
- used because we already have a way to deliver tons of conventional bombs and
- don't have to worry about losing our nuc. capability if we lose the B-52. Why
- risk our limited number of front line bomber aircraft on a job done just as
- well with the B-52. My point is to use the correct aircraft for the job. Keep
- an ace in your pocket in case you really need it. The B1.--
