  16. I have an 85 cutlass cruiser - V6-181, E2ME carb.

  18. I am having a problem with the idle speed control.  When I release 
  19. the gas pedal the idle speed control solenoid maintains its
  20. position for 2-10+ secs.  I replaced the O2 sensor but the problem
  21. persists.  Finally I disconnected the idle speed control and
  22. the car seems to run okay - at least the idle speed stays low.

  24. What should I look for as the cause of this problem??  a sensor 
  25. or regulator?? or??
