- Lugging the engine generally results in a LOT of unburned fuel which
- ends up in two places, the air and the oil. Lugging being defined as
- close too wide open throttle at a low rpm. You will have maximum
- pressure in the cylinders, unburned fuel will also tend to wash oil off
- the cylinder walls, and as already noted, pinging usually occurs and
- that can destroy rings,pistons and blocks if continuous.
