  12. My friend jumped his new Jeep (Wrangler) for a few feet. later he 
  13. noticed that the shifter was moved to the right.  Nothing feels out of 
  14. alignment, but the suspects that the engine mounts were bent on impact.  
  15. Actually, the engine fan was hitting the plastc shroud around the 
  16. radiator right after his jump.  We thought the differential hit the 
  17. plastic from below, butnow he thinks it is related to the problem with 
  18. the shifter.  Any experiences on how violent jumps can affect Jeep 
  19. Wranglers (1.8l 4cyl engine and 31" tires on stock suspension).

  21. I hope he is wrong, oterwise I'll never buy a Jeep.
