  21. Donald is in error.  According to my Haynes manual, Sentras from 1990 on 
  22. used the GA16i engine, which incorporates a timing chain, not a belty, as 
  23. in earlier models.  While earlier Sentras (like my 1987) should have the 
  24. timing belts changed (or at least inspected quite regularly) after 60,000 
  25. mi, there is no such scheduled maintenance for the 1990 and newer timing 
  26. chains.
