  19.     The owner's manual doesn't tell much (I hate these translated
  20.     manuals and I don't have the original at hand now). The output
  21.     is 209kW (280HP NET - about 370BHP?), max torque is 415Nm
  22.     at 2800rpm. I don't remember how much that is in lbsft...
  23.     Those specs were for the 5.3l version of the engine.
  24.     The 6.0l version puts out someting like 330HP NET but it's
  25.     available with the XJR-S only.

  27.     Performance isn't as good as you would expect from that
  28.     kind of horsepower. Jaguar Sovereign weighs 3700lbs,
  29.     Jaguar XJ-S V12 3500lbs and XJR-S 3300lbs. They're HEAVY.
