- I own a 360 in a Dodge 3/4 ton pickup. I've run it thousands of miles
- up and down I5 at 3500 RPM, with occasional periods to 4000 RPM, with

- If taken care of, the engine should last 150k -- 200k miles, even if
- you run 3500 RPM. What eventually breaks is statistical, and while
- one might as an academic exercise demonstrate that one could increase
- the average 10k miles by driving slower, the return of value for one's
- time would surely be maximized by changing the oil more frequently,
- or even by changing to a higher speed differential.
