- I'm pretty sure that SDII (at least my version) won't work without the
- Nubus card present. I use to have SoundTools I and now I have AudioMediaII
- and both versions of SDII need the card to work.

- The SDII software sells for about C$950 and the whole package including
- the AudioMedia II card and SDII sells for C$1450. So for C$500 you get
- one hell of an amazing DSP/playback card if you look at it this way.

- Oh by the way........Passport says they have discontinued Alchemy as of
- version 2.6 (which is copy-protected unlike the others).

- SDII (with the card) is light years better than Alchemy as far as DSP and
- speed goes. But Alchemy is better at keeping the mapping of samples
- straight.
