  12. More requests for gear advice.

  14. I need another couple of compressors in my (expanding!) FOH rack. My only 
  15. unit at this time is a SoundTech cheapie which I use to keep vocals under 
  16. control. This usnit is the typical 1U dual comp.. with gate. The gate is uselesscause you cannot adjust the rate and its so S L O W in closing.

  18. My choice for another unit is the Beringer (no model sorry), the Drawmer LX20
  19. and the Alesis 3060.

  21. The Beringer has no gate but it has an "Auto" feature. I have become quite 
  22. happy with compressor adjustments but I'm into an easy life. I would like 
  23. to hear opinions on "Auto" compressors.

  25. The Alesis looks to have a good gate and I think I will go for this unless
  26. peeps convince me on the Beringer.
