- I need another couple of compressors in my (expanding!) FOH rack. My only
- unit at this time is a SoundTech cheapie which I use to keep vocals under
- control. This usnit is the typical 1U dual comp.. with gate. The gate is uselesscause you cannot adjust the rate and its so S L O W in closing.
-
- My choice for another unit is the Beringer (no model sorry), the Drawmer LX20
- and the Alesis 3060.
-
- The Beringer has no gate but it has an "Auto" feature. I have become quite
- happy with compressor adjustments but I'm into an easy life. I would like
- to hear opinions on "Auto" compressors.
-
- The Alesis looks to have a good gate and I think I will go for this unless
- peeps convince me on the Beringer.
-
- Thanks for helping me to spend money..
