- Sounds like good judgement to me. Sure you can try and
- avoid such gigs - if they are obvious - beforehand, but
- sometimes the shit just hits the fan and it's all you can do
- to get out (with your gear intact, hopefully) in one
- piece. A few months ago the soundman who took over in a club
- I vacated - because the promoter was booking heavier and
- heavier thrash acts - was beaten badly by some skinheads
- in the audience.
