  15. I'm not familiar with the Sons Of Hermann myself.  I had always
  16. assumed that the Sons Of Knute (ya, that's how the Norsky's spell it)
  17. were supposed to be a parody of the Sons Of Norway.  The only real
  18. differences I can see are that the Sons Of Knute appear to be a local
  19. all mens club (or am I mistaken there), and the Sons Of Norway is a
  20. co-ed international collection of Lodges.

  23. headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.  I don't have the exact address on
  24. me.  If you want it, I'll give my Aunt a call.  She's the 5th district
  25. president (the district covers most of the Great Lakes states except
  26. MN) at least she was a couple years ago.  I'm not sure what office she
  27. holds now.

  29. They host festivals and ethnic gatherings all year long.  They are big
  30. in the H0stfest in Minot, ND and the annual festival at Decorah, Iowa.
  31. Of course they've got their finger in celebrations all over the world
  32. on May 17 (Norwegian Independence Day).  Some districts also sponsor a
  33. Norwegian language camp (yeah, I went when I was a kid as if you had
  34. to ask).
