  38.      Well Timster, your heart is in the right place.  But you
  39. didn't go *quite* far back enough.  Remember back when Steve was
  40. in the hospital after donating a kidney to Jack?  I think that's
  41. where we should pick up.  It was all a dream induced by his coma.
  42. He wkes up to find Kayla by his side.  Shane and Kim are still
  43. happily married, Kim never even heard of Cal Winters.  Roman and
  44. Diana are still together, and her turning into a manipulative
  45. bitch (excuse me Vix!) never happened.  They stay together and
  46. get married.  Steve tells Kay about how he dreamed he had a dead
  47. wife who came back to life, but he was never married before.
  48. Enter Hunter Tylo (Marina) as his neurologist, which explains
  49. that particular delusion.  Stella was his physical therapist,
  50. while Desiree is an old friend of Kayla's who came to town to
  51. help her old roomie from nursing school.  When he gets out of the
  52. hospital, Steve tracks down Nick (still a bad guy) and sets
  53. himself to befrinding/reforming him, much to Nick's confusion.
  54. But it works, and Nick and Eve get together.  Bo and Hope are
  55. still married, SD is still a baby (yay!  No whining!), Vic is his
  56. own bad self, and no one ever heard of Carly!
