- 'Ward' isn't any more fake than 'Ned'; both are fairly standard nicknames
- for 'Edward'. And, excluding the woman who ran the spa, everyone just knew
- the 'guests' by first names--no titles and no surnames. He was surprised to
- find out that Monica was his aunt; the difference is that he didn't care
- about the family tie and she did.

- As for Lila having up-to-date pictures of the grandchildren... It all
- depends on whether anyone bothers to have pictures taken and send them to
- her. My grandparents rarely had recent pictures of my brother and I. We just
- didn't have them taken very often.
