  32. 'Ward' isn't any more fake than 'Ned'; both are fairly standard nicknames
  33. for 'Edward'. And, excluding the woman who ran the spa, everyone just knew
  34. the 'guests' by first names--no titles and no surnames. He was surprised to
  35. find out that Monica was his aunt; the difference is that he didn't care
  36. about the family tie and she did.

  38. As for Lila having up-to-date pictures of the grandchildren... It all
  39. depends on whether anyone bothers to have pictures taken and send them to
  40. her. My grandparents rarely had recent pictures of my brother and I. We just
  41. didn't have them taken very often.
