  24.      Has anyone considered the possibility that ABC or CBS might
  25.      pick up QL if NBC cancels it? "In the Heat of the Night" and
  26.      "Matlock" were picked up for this season by another network.
  27.      Granted, their ratings were higher than QL's, but maybe ABC
  28.      or CBS would see QL's earlier ratings as reason enough to 
  29.      give it a chance...?

  31.      On the other hand, maybe NBC programming dept will try to
  32.      cancel QL only to have execs say "we cancelled HEAT and
  33.      MATLOCK last year and got burnt... lets hold onto Leap."

  35.      By the way, where is this 'past its prime' stuff about QL
  36.      coming from. I think QL is holding its own so far this
  37.      year as compared to last year. 'Nowhere to Run', the Trilogy
  38.      episodes and 'Promised Land' come to mind. I did not like
  39.      'LHO' though. People keep writing about QL's decline. The
  40.      funny thing is that few agree on which episodes represent
  41.      this decline!
