  10. The syndicated reruns of this program are being shown on WPIX-TV
  11. here in the NYC area.  I noticed they are running the first season
  12. episodes when Lisa Bonet and Marisa Tomei appeared.

  14. I am curious why there were so many changes to the program after the
  15. first season.  Why was Tomei's character dropped?  I remember all of
  16. the problems they had with Lisa Bonet, but it seems the program went
  17. through some major changes.

  19. Another observation was in the first season, Hillman seemed to be an
  20. intergrated school, with white and black students all mixing in the
  21. background.  I know nothing about the college, I always took it for
  22. granted it was an all black school, so watching the first season now 
  23. after seeing all of the other episodes makes for some confusion.

  25. Can anyone give me the story on this program, which appears to be
  26. winding up its network run.
