- The syndicated reruns of this program are being shown on WPIX-TV
- here in the NYC area. I noticed they are running the first season
- episodes when Lisa Bonet and Marisa Tomei appeared.
-
- I am curious why there were so many changes to the program after the
- first season. Why was Tomei's character dropped? I remember all of
- the problems they had with Lisa Bonet, but it seems the program went
- through some major changes.
-
- Another observation was in the first season, Hillman seemed to be an
- intergrated school, with white and black students all mixing in the
- background. I know nothing about the college, I always took it for
- granted it was an all black school, so watching the first season now
- after seeing all of the other episodes makes for some confusion.
-
- Can anyone give me the story on this program, which appears to be
- winding up its network run.
