  10. I just saw a bit of the Thanksgiving show on Picket Fences (rebroadcast
  11. 1/1/93).  I loved the plot twist they had for Richard Kiley's father/
  12. grandfather character and the young woman who came with him.  (She's not
  13. a money grabbing floozie, she has Cystic Fibrosis, and a very different
  14. outlook on life that goes with it)

  16. Were there any further appearances of these two in later episodes?
  17. I hope so.  I'll keep watching, but I appreciate any filling in...

  19. BTW, they were a bit heavy handed about how she was 26 and the average 
  20. life expectancy for CF is now about 29, like she had exactly 3 years to
  21. live, and that was it, end of story.  But it was great just to see a 
  22. character with CF, especially an adult.
