  14. After my original posting acclaiming the merits of the
  15. kids in the hall (sic boys in the hall) I have received
  16. a number of e mail notes from people decrying it as
  17. merely sick and jaded, hardly humor.
  18. Yet when you look around at how society is progressing
  19. the latest movements, trends, social phenomena it is
  20. difficult indeed to keep up with a true satirical
  21. commentary of this process.
  22. The rate of change itself is increasing.
  23. And as far as sicko, etc. comments, look at what a great
  24. deal of =straight= television is all about...
  25. Especially
  26. and I can't believe this when I think about it....

  28. All three networks do a show on the Lolita of Long Island
  29. super sicko and violent (important ingredient missing in
  30. kids in hall) low life love triangle.
  31. And this gets national tv efforts???
