- After my original posting acclaiming the merits of the
- kids in the hall (sic boys in the hall) I have received
- a number of e mail notes from people decrying it as
- merely sick and jaded, hardly humor.
- Yet when you look around at how society is progressing
- the latest movements, trends, social phenomena it is
- difficult indeed to keep up with a true satirical
- commentary of this process.
- The rate of change itself is increasing.
- And as far as sicko, etc. comments, look at what a great
- deal of =straight= television is all about...
- Especially
- and I can't believe this when I think about it....
-
- All three networks do a show on the Lolita of Long Island
- super sicko and violent (important ingredient missing in
- kids in hall) low life love triangle.
- And this gets national tv efforts???
-
- really!! sick america or sicko tv.
-
- At least ==good== comedy always has a message.
