  19.    Same here. I LOVED that show when I was a kid. But a nitpick, 
  20.    the 'Black Sheep Squadron' was not the famous "Flying Tigers".
  21.    The "Flying Tigers" were a volunteer organization helping to
  22.    defend China from the Japanese in the pre-Pearl Harbor days.
  23.    'Baa Baa Black Sheep' was Marine Corps squadron VMF-214 in
  24.    the Solomon Islands during 1943. Boyington was a pilot in
  25.    both. Flying Tigers featured the P-40 Warhawk, VMF-214 flew
  26.    the F4U Corsair. I'm still awed that Universal and NBC managed
  27.    to assemble so many Corsairs for that show. Probably the last
  28.    time we'll ever see that many examples of any WW2 fighter in
  29.    formation.
