- I just caught the tail end of Caroline's Comedy Hour. The last act was a
- magic act. He put this collar around the neck of a female from the audience.
- He plunged a stiff sword from the back of her neck and the sword emerged from
- the front of her neck. That was his grand finale.
-
- The magician exited. The host of the show came on; he grabbed the sword and
- held it while he thanked the guests. At one point, the supposedly stiff sword
- bent as if it had been hinged.
-
- It was funny watching the reaction of the host and the audience. It wasn't
- planned ... I guessed the magician was probably running for the nearest
- exit.
-
- I was wondering if this has happened on TV before (i.e., the secret of a
- magic trick being revealed unintentionally)?
