  11. I just caught the tail end of Caroline's Comedy Hour. The last act was a
  12. magic act. He put this collar around the neck of a female from the audience.
  13. He plunged a stiff sword from the back of her neck and the sword emerged from
  14. the front of her neck. That was his grand finale.

  16. The magician exited. The host of the show came on; he grabbed the sword and
  17. held it while he thanked the guests. At one point, the supposedly stiff sword
  18. bent as if it had been hinged.

  20. It was funny watching the reaction of the host and the audience. It wasn't
  21. planned ... I guessed the magician was probably running for the nearest
  22. exit.

  24. I was wondering if this has happened on TV before (i.e., the secret of a
  25. magic trick being revealed unintentionally)?
