  12. A Quantum Leap newsgroup was turned down by majority vote just this
  13. summer.  As someone who *likes* reading the QL postings, I'd like to
  14. say that yes, it would be nice to have them all in their own news-
  15. group, but the consensus was not to do it that way.

  17. Star Trek has its own group(s) because, according to one source/urban myth,
  18. nearly 50% of ALL traffic on the net (postings & personal e-mail) is
  19. related to or at least mentions Trek.  The number is apocryphal, but
  20. you do have to admit...the QL postings are a drop in the bucket
  21. compared to the Trek traffic.

  23. Personally, I'd like to see the QL newsgroup up for vote yet again,
  24. but I'm not sure how you petition for something like that.  In the
  25. meantime, you'll have to put up with us...sorry!  :-)
