- In a previous article, robs@informix.com (Robert Schneider) says:
- >* All criminals have big meetings/payoffs in warehouses
-
- Aha! the "warehouse" phenomenon:
-
- All cities have many perfectly sound and usable empty and deserted warehouses.
-
- These warehouses are available for perfectly secure storage and use as factories
- by drug dealers and maniacs collecting arms to conquer the world.
-
- No thief ever comes into these unlocked "abandoned" warehouses to steal
- the stuff left there by these aforementioned people, even if it is
- incredibly stealable and sellable stuff like drugs or weapons.
-
- Nobody ever locks their "abandoned" warehouses.
-
- Dirty and debris-strewn abandoned warehouses abound near docks, and are used for
- indoor car chases. (Corollary = there are always streets or access roads
- leading directly to the nearest ocean, lake, or river, for easy driving into.)
-
- No police ever investigate the constant use and activity going on
- in "abandoned" warehouses.
-

-
- And here's something else:
-
- Trash is only collected immediately after something vital or irreplaceable is
- thrown in it. A building's dumpster is always collected/emptied by the
- trash-haulers immediately after the building's janitors pitch the trash in it.
