- Judging from the angle of your post, I'd say you are just interested in
- Lea Salonga, Edwin :). Anyway, yes, there have been extensive discussion
- on the recording here at r.a.t., most concede that while Julie Andrews
- delivers a fine performance, it seems a trifle under expectations. Also,
- most think that Ben Kingsley did a fine King, although some disagree quite
- strongly. Most everyone thinks of Lea's Tuptim as being fantastic;
- however, it is not the lead character, and she does not get the most
- coverage. Tuptim is the slave girl who is given to the King of Siam as a
- present, and instead is in love with another man.

- Well, Lea is on Bway as Eponine in Les Mis, from Jan 5- March 28, for
