  12. This might be a dumb question, but here goes: in "Relics" Scotty is kept
  13. alive via a Transporter buffer and then remerterlized.

  15. In a previous season, in an episode which I don't remember the title
  16. of, Dr. Polaski is on a Planet where the Children have been geneticly 
  17. enginered (actually it might have been the entire colony) and the adults
  18. have a disease/virus which speeds the aging process and thius brings
  19. death more quickly.  Dr. Polaski is stricken by the disease and is
  20. on the brink of death from old-age when here transporter pattern
  21. is taken, and she is meteralized good as new.

  23. I guess my question is this, which is probably an FAQ.
  24. How much of a person does the transporter save?  What's
  25. to stop a deeply greiving transporter chief who has
  26. lost a loved one to go back and pull the transporter
  27. pattern and bring the dead loved one back to life?
