  13. it is entirely possible that those hi-tech pitons they were using have a
  14. r/c "detach" thingy that shoots them out of the granite in which they are
  15. embedded. this would seem a highly practical device; one which _any_ rock-
  16. climber/rappeller would cream his/herself over. n'est-ce pas?
