- The best way for me to say what is on my mind is to be direct, so no offense intended to those
- who love Commander Riker (all two of you).
-
- I think this episode marks the final fall from grace for Commander William G(ee I am Great)
- Riker. He was insubordinate, conceited, immature, and he offered nothing redeemable until
- he successfully flew the shuttle.
-
- I think Riker hated Jellico ever since he ordered a shift from three to four shifts. He
- deliberately ignored all that he could from Jellico, and Jellico, who needs to build better trust
- on board, so I agree with Riker on that count only, did not know or want to deal with Riker in
- that way. I do not blame him. riker has been a first officer for over five years, and he should
- have known better and set the stage by leading by example. he could have kept his
- disagreements private, and why in h*ll he should have broken military silence to ask about
- Picard defies understanding (I don't care HOW MUCH he likes Picard--this was inexcusable).
-
- Riker says the same things every time now. I wish a good writer would submit something that
- shows Riker as a real first officer.
