- I think the key word here is RELIABLE. The torture DID affect Picard, but
- I don't think any information that he would give after being broken would be
- reliable. He sees things as his captors want him to see them.
- Following up on the 1984 parallel, I don't think that I'd want to use
- Winston Smith as a source for reliable information on 1984 society.
- Especially after he's broken. (2+2=5...)
