- Actually, your theory seems to make sense if it's true that
- Emmy nominations for next year are due by the end of December.
- Originally we heard that CoC was moved up in the schedule
- because the episode was a tie-in to DS9 which had to be aired
- before DS9 (supposedly Part II ended with the Enterprise
- visiting the DS9 station). But that didn't happen and there
- was no tie-in, other than the very vague one of the Cardassians
- being villains both in CoC and DS9. So your explanation may be
- the real reason why DS9 was moved up in the schedule.
