- Chain of Command. How utterly disappointing. All this talk about war, etc and
- not one battle! No burning ships. No glorious victories. Nothing! When are
- the producers of ST:TNG going to learn. Look at the two best two-parters:
- Redemption and BOBW. Excellent stories with some exciting battle scenes to
- ensure a modicum of excitement. What a waste of a good plot. So what if it
- cost some money. Look at the classic series. Kirk at least, and the
- producers, had a sense of glory to preserve. There is something noble about
- surviving an ardous confrontation with an alien race. I thought COC, in
- general stunk! Some of these bloody shows never live up to their "teasers".
- Why even bother making a two parter if it doesn't offer anything spectacular.
- Look at Time's Arrow. Overblown and drawl. Please don't bother saying
- anything about this writer's blood lust or my "Klingon stance". Neither of
- these traits are accurate. I know piles of people who were disappointed with
- this show for "exactly" the same reasons. I am not alone with this criticism.
- Merry Christmas!
