- I just thought of something. Technically when Jellico gave Riker the shift
- changes order he was not in command of the ship! And he never asked Picard's
- permission either. I think Riker was, in a twisted sort of way, justified in
- waiting until Jellico was OFFICIALLY in command before carrying out the orders.
