- You are wrong. BABYLON 5 won't even appear as a series until Fall '93,
- if at all. The new network is trying the pilot before going ahead with
- production on the series.
-
- Besides, in the New York City area, BABYLON 5 will be playing on WWOR
- (channel 9, Secaucus, NJ; formerly WOR, channel 9, New York). B5 may
- go head-to-head in New York City with ST:TNG; it can't replace it, any
- more than THE SIMPSONS replaced COSBY.
-
- One possible cause for confusion: There will be no *new* ST:TNG
- episodes for a few weeks (i.e., the first few weeks of ST:DSN). On
- WPIX (channel 11 in the New York City area), ST:DSN will air 7-8 p.m.
- on *Sunday* (as opposed to *Saturday* for ST:TNG). Both series are
- syndicated, and are shown at different times in different markets. The
- two STAR TREK series are intended to complement each other; ST:DSN is
- not supposed to replace ST:TNG.

- I'm not speaking for the company, I'm just speaking my mind.
-
- P.S.: Forget it! I'm gonna start typing "ST:DS9". When I try to type
- "DSN", my fingers do "DNS" instead. Yeah, that's the ticket: STAR
- TREK: the Domain Name Server generation. . . .-)
