  14.     The Babylon 5 mail list has been created to provide information
  15. about the show to people who want to know.  It was done in the form of a
  16. mail list because it does not yet warrant its own group, and some people
  17. do not want to fish through all the Quantum Leap stuff in
  18. rec.arts.sf.tv to find stuff out about B5.  (Although I love Q-Leap, 
  19. I have difficulty finding other things on that board amongst all the 
  20. posts.)

  22.      The list is maintained by me, Troy Rutter.   If there are any
  23. questions about the group please feel free to contact me at
  24. techy@iastate.edu.  I like to just chat too... so feel free to mail.

  26.      To request access to the group you can set it up yourself on your
  27. system (ask your administrator how to access a public newsgroup), or
  28. send mail to b5-request@iastate.edu.

  30.      To post an article to the group simply mail b5@iastate.edu.  Your 
  31. "post" will be relayed to all the members on the mailing list.

  34. kill file if you don't want to see it.

  36.      What is B5?  Babylon 5 is a new science fiction television show with
  37. Warner Brothers that is set to air in 1993.  It is set upon a five kilometer
  38. long space station, neutral to several different alien alliances.  Unlike
  39. Star Trek, the people come to B5 to find their stories instead of seeking them
  40. out.

  43. station guide, Other Roles list,  GIFs, and other assorted goodies... you 
  44. can anonymous FTP to ftp.hyperion.com  /pub/Babylon-5
