-
- Mine does.
-
- I remember when the not-yet out-the-door Sci Fi channel was ballyhooed
- in Usenet News as the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have perused
- its offerings for a couple of months now.
-
- Need I say that I am _decidedly_ underwhelmed ?????
-
- The _ads_ suggest offerings with production values on a level with Star
- Wars or Star Trek (though I must admit that TOS had a few wretchedly
- written episodes .. particularly in the last couple of years).
-
- But the Sci-Fi Channel seems to have gone to _great_ _lengths_ to
- resurrect every schlock science fiction series ever thought up by the
- cocaine-saturated minds of Hollywood's overpaid TV moguls (only to flop
- like a beached fish a few months later, cancelled) and broadcast it. MY
- GHOD !!! We are even being 'treated' to 'Cattlecar Galactica', my
- nomination for the Worst SF Series Of All Time !!! And 'Loused Up In
- Space', which is a damned close runner up !!!
-
- Yecccch !!!!
-
- IMO, 'Sci-Fi Channel' is a hideously accurate name .. in terms of what it
- implies about quality (or lack thereof).
-
- In short, Jim .. you are not missing _anything_ !!!
