- Actually I hate to nitpick here, but Batman was only recently moved to
- prime time, when Fox realized that the show had an adult appeal. It used
- to be on in the afternoon, (after Tiny Toons, at least here anyway).
- So I don't think that they intended the show to be for adults, but for
- older children. It has been moved to prime time to capture more of the
- adult audience, but is not "ment" for adults.

- I agree that "cartoon" does not equal "comedy", nor does it mean that it
- is only for children. And for more on that, there is quite a lot of
- Japanese Anime that children should not see at all, and that is definatly
- not a comedy.
