  13. Hi.  I just couldn't believe it when I walked into the newsgroup and saw
  14. people posting about _Quark_, one of my all-time favorite SF comedy shows
  15. when I was a kid (my other favorite show was _Winnie the Pooh_).

  17. My favorite _Quark_ episode was the one with the black hole ("Look at all
  18. the colors?  Isn't it beautiful?").  In fact, I think I memorized it (I
  19. taped it to audio with an open mic when it first ran).  I had also vaguely
  20. remembered a scene from another episode where the whole crew hid in the
  21. shower to make plans on distroying the "ultimate computer" which had been
  22. installed on the ship.

  24. But now I am the proud "owner" of all _Quark_ episodes, admittedly out of 
  25. order and possibly edited, when they were re-shown on Showtime's HA! some
  26. years back.  (HA! has since merged with HBO's Comedy Channel to become
  27. Comedy Central where they make even better stuff like _Mystery Science
  28. Theater 3000_, now my number one favorite SF comedy show.)

  30. If you're interested in a copy of the _Quark_ episodes (admittedly out
  31. of order, possibly edited, and includes all the dorky HA! commercials
  32. they'd repeat fifteen times an hour), send me mail and possibly we can
  33. strike a deal!
