- Howdy Doreen!
-
- Well, I don't have much information, but what I have I'm happy to
- share. You probably saw an ad of Deep Station 9, which is a spin-off on
- ST:TNG. It starts in January, in the Universe of ST:TNG, but takes place
- on a desolate space-station, with some familiar faces (such as the
- transporter engineer from the ship, who is transferred to this station),
- & promises a bit more "earthly" attitude - that is, more dirt & poverty
- & worn out equipment, less perfection & beautiful optimistic people.
- It's also rumored that, as TNG was planned for seven season & now it's
- in its fifth (or sixth), Deep Station 9 is gonna be TNG's successor,
- while TNG is planned to make eventually the BIG transfer to the silver
- screen. I've also heard (this is really just a rumour) that in the TNG
- movie version finally Kirk appears (as you know, the doctor & Spock has
- done their part in tying up the two series with each other already...).
-
- Well, that's about it. Take care
-
