- I blame it on three things. The "tween" factor (name that story!),
- where many fen have a first level of intelligence that can't reach--or
- even acknowledge--higher levels. A tendency to fantasize and romaticize
- and individualize, overlooking uncomfortable details. And of course,
- libertarian fiction is obviously not describing our world as is, so much
- of it is science fiction.
