  13. Ben Bova's VOYAGERS II (I *think*, either that one or III) predicted
  14. the fall, in almost the correct order, in 1986.  Now, I admit this
  15. is a bit close to the actual events, so some of the early signs may
  16. have been evident by then (don't quote me on that, I'm no historian).
  17. But it's the only example that comes to mind.
