- Ben Bova's VOYAGERS II (I *think*, either that one or III) predicted
- the fall, in almost the correct order, in 1986. Now, I admit this
- is a bit close to the actual events, so some of the early signs may
- have been evident by then (don't quote me on that, I'm no historian).
- But it's the only example that comes to mind.
