  17. A number of people read that into the letter; it was definitely not intended,
  18. and we regret that people took it that way.

  20. While many people took the letter as we intended, enough didn't so that (IMHO)
  21. it evidently was not as clearly-written as it should have been; in our defense,
  22. all I can say is that it was written in a period of high stress and little
  23. available time.
