  15.                       at the rose garden;
  16.                       watching the footsteps
  17.                       wonder down the path
  18.                       we did not take.

  20.                       Smelling columbine,
  21.                       iris and jasmine
  22.                       which we did not
  23.                       know were here before;
  24.                       hearing echoes of
  25.                       laugther we did not.

  27.                       Between the dilemma
  28.                       where the walls close
  29.                       predicitons of another
  30.                       smile arise with dawn
  31.                       from that other future.

  33.                       This bouquet of flowers
  34.                       warms but may not be
  35.                       in me as the eternal
  36.                       mood of the bleak winds
  37.                       over sunless cliffs
  38.                       and of grey waters.
