  18. Who will I be tomorrow
  19. that I am not today?
  20. If tomorrow I awoke
  21. not able to see the words
  22. on this page,
  23. would it suffice merely to touch its varying textures?
  24. If the next day I awoke
  25. not able to feel the softness
  26. of my sheets, 
  27. would hearing my mother's reassuring voice be enough for me to continue?
  28. If yet the next day I awoke
  29. not able to hear the continuous
  30. beatings in my ear,
  31. would the sweet scent of jasmine tea draw me to the cup?
  32. If the next day I awoke
  33. not able to smell the earthiness of this pencil,
  34. would the taste of life make me want more?
