- Love/Bliss
-
- I have tried to cast her from my mind,
- Because I know that there would be no hope for us ever.
- Or is my anguish only despair, frustration?
- I strive to freee myself from the chains of reality, to discover ME,
- But she lovingly blocks my path.
- THEY are overbearing;
- Their evanescent, meaningless talk pours from their mouths,
- And fill my ears, my head,
- But do not better me.
- But she, the sight of her, is what I strive for.
- My last painful grasp of the Real, is she.
- How could my stupidity, my ignorance
- Allow me to be pulled from the omnipotent Way, my spiritual bliss,
- By such hopeless, frantic attempts to meet her hardened eyes,
- To spark recognition in her face?
- But, instead, she walks on with hardly a break in her stride.
- And I, left with no one, not even myself,
- Fade into nothing.
