  17. A few quibbles about Marek's response to my comment on his comments.
  18. He continues (look out I'm gonna say it again marek) pontificating:

  31. You're welcome ... I find it a bit disingenuous though, that you'd 
  32. only cite YOUR work as the artfull 'love' contributions to compare 
  33. to "Ode .." on RAP. It lacks generosity and borders on self inflation.

  40. (and only to a mob desensitized to misery) and completely devoid of

  50. It lacks honesty in that it pretends to, but so obviously does not, care ...
  51. Now maybe the lack of humanity in the main character (I) is what is most 
  52. important to the author. If so, I've missed the boat again .. a 
  53. common occurrence .. but then the question becomes "should the 
  54. audience care for a work with no redeeming features or characters?"
  55. (this is much of my complaint with Bukowski (2live Crew as well))

  116. I thought I saw an eagle.

  120. And as I watched him watching me

  122. In ever widening circles.
  123. I got the feeling that he knew
  124. Something important that I didn't know,
  125. And so I asked him,
  126. "Bird!" 
  127. (It seems I'm always shouting upward)
  128. "Bird,
  129. Can you tell me anything fantastic?"
  130. Now it may have been,
  131. A convoluted wind,
  132. But
  133. (and I know this sounds a little drastic)
  134. I could have sworn I heard him answer,
