  20.         light streaming under the door.
  21.         the gap like a lens. i swear 
  22.         the light bends 
  23.         from here on 
  24.         the floor.
  25.         it seems cooler 
  26.         too.  in the dark.
  27.         the lightswitch is just
  28.         out of reach of my ability
  29.         to make it look normal in here.
  30.         the world looks so different
  31.         from this lowly perspective.
  32.         and it feels so much nicer
  33.         to feel cool white tiles
  34.         on my cheek.  and to 
  35.         watch the feet.
  36.         playing games at guessing 
  37.         which toes belong to voices
  38.         disembodied.  my body long 
  39.         gone and numb.  all i 
  40.         feel now is cool
