- Howdy, folks!
-
- At a New Year's party last night, some of us were discussing
- the aspect ratios of various films, and the following question came
- up: Which U.S. theatrical release holds the record for the most
- extreme aspect ratio?
-
- Three popular guesses:
-
- -1) 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
- -2) SPARTACUS
- -3) THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
-
- 2001 was the most popular, but nobody could rember the
- exact aspect ratio. We know that SPARTACUS is up there at 2.6:1,
- and so is THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY.
-
- So if anybody knows, do tell.
-
- Thanks,
-
